Humans.... Mostly.
You're still human- but you have a touch of the supernatural. You pass for a human unless you call attention to yourself.. but really, you're totally normal and unassuming. Yep. Totes.
Humans. With Frills. Just a touch.
If you've already read through the race pages and decided that Human with Frills is the place for you- you should start to put your character together on the Human page. Why? Because all of the "Generalisms" apply- abilities and weaknesses are shared. After all, you're mostly human, right? Right. You were born human- you just got some frills on the way up the ladder. But you're still human.

Remember, you can (and should) pull Weaknesses from the Human page. Those listed here are specifically for the "...with frills" Humans. The Talents here are Human+ only.

General Weaknesses
I'm Covered in Bees! : The buzzing thoughts of the world around you never stop. You can't shut them out. Maybe you could when you were younger but now you can't- or maybe you never could shut them out. It can be worse when close to people or it can be purely based on the size of a city. You can choose how it effects you. Taking this also impacts your ability to study, think, listen, hear things that are quiet...

Damnit, Endora! : When you lose your temper, get emotional, feel panicked or trapped, you have an entirely different fight or flight response: Telekinesis just starts firing off 100% uncontrollable by you. It will blow your cover if you were trying to deny that you're anything but human. Lights will flicker, small items will fly across a room, cupboards will bang around, etc. They are completely useless, you can not benefit from this at all- its a weakness, afterall. If other players wish to allow themselves to be distracted by this (to allow you to escape or something), that's up to the player. But this is 100% a weakness.

Not Enough Aspirin: Every time you use your talents, you are down for the count with a headache. The size and duration of the headache match whatever it was you were doing. Your liver will probably sue you for separate maintenance by the time you're 40.

Over Medicated: No one believed you when you said you could hear thoughts- or see dead people- or move things with your mind- or see demons and angels- or any number of the other things you could do. So, naturally, they locked you up and drugged you to the gills. Whether you're still an in patient, out patient, or still think you're not really hearing and seeing the things you do, you're way over medicated and somewhat addicted to the anti-psychotics now. Your grip on what is real and what isn't is truly frail.

Available Talents
Psychic / Clairvoyance: This very closely resembles Divination and Prophecy magic. It is not uncommon for younger humans to get tossed into the Magical Deep-end only to find out they were psychic, not magically inclined. The opposite is also true: some young casters who show no other aptitudes have been cast out of magical families for being 'merely psychic'. Your back ground can involve any or none of these scenarios. In general, you have about a 48 hour precognition window. That said, you will sometimes get flashes of things that never seem to happen. Or maybe they just haven't happened yet.

Haley Joel Syndrome: Yep, not only can you see dead people, but you can talk to them and they can talk to you. Sometimes they know they're dead, sometimes they don't, sometimes it is nothing more than the remnants of a spiritual energy that doesn't know how to stop haunting a certain place.

Supernatural Servant: You're a vampire's Ghoul. Or maybe a Fae's Kin. Perhaps you sold your soul to a deity and their manifestation has claimed you as their own. Whatever it is, you are still human, you are still "human plus" but you have inherited some perks from your Supernatural Overlord as well. Note: You can't take this if you do not have a supernatural that you are RPing with. We aren't NPCing out Supes.
-
Vampire Servant: Immortal as long as you continue to be fed the vampire's blood at regular intervals, you and your vampire can telepathically communicate, you heal twice as fast as a normal human, you're twice as strong and twice as fast as a human, and- thank goddess- you don't have to eat bugs.
-
Fae Servant: As long as you visit the Fae realms regularly with your benefactor, you'll enjoy an immortal life- but not necessarily youth and beauty- that depends on the type of Fae. The creative force that drew the fae to you in the first place increases in intensity and execution; you're the top of your creative genius.
-
Saint or Sinner: These are generic but just mean that you have sold your soul to a diety and now can claim longer life as long as you continue to serve that diety. Each diety would grant something different, so get with staff to figure out what that is.

Telekinetic: With nothing more than the power of your mind and a bad attitude, you can move things. Unlike magic wielders, however, you aren't doing magic. So it is not as draining as it might be to a caster. Your mind will get tired, and the urge to nap is real, and you can't keep doing it indefinitely. You will pass out. Generally speaking, the larger or heavier something is, the harder it is to move. Even though it is just in your mind- your psyche believes it is huge and heavy, therefore, your brain has a harder time moving it. Trust Master Yoda and force that F**Ker. Note: If you are trying to move a person, you must get permission and they can resist. A person's natural state is not to be tossed around like a ragdoll and your will and theirs will clash like a cheap suit.

Psychometry: Just by touching things, you can tell who owned it last- who touched it last- where it has been- what its purpose is- or any number of other things depending on what the object is. You should partner with the owner of the object to find out what you get. You can't get everything, every time, and if you touch something that has been passed around a lot- like Mr. Black- you'll probably get a headache. And an STD.

Channeller: You're more open than a cheerleader on prom night. Spirits will hop into you and take you for a ride whether you like it or not. Your meat suit is their puppet and you have no control over it. You'd think this would be a weakness, however, the spirit leaves behind a residue of their consciousness. A construction worker takes you for a ride and tomorrow you'll know all about how to lay brick properly. All sorts of useful things can be learned this way but, the downside, is that they don't typically last very long. Note: This isn't the Matrix where you can download whatever information you need at the moment. Be reasonable.

Automatic Writer: A lot of people zone out, but when you zone out, you auto write. If you don't have a pen, you'll use your fingers, or nails, or... whatever is handy really. Your automatic writing is usually because of latent spiritual corruption pushing through messages to you. The shorter the message is, the more likely you are to actually be able to read it.
